The Tire Loading Test Bench is designed for the static footprint evaluation of PCR and LTR tires under controlled vertical loading conditions. It enables accurate measurement and analysis of contact pressure distribution, contact patch geometry, and footprint area, providing reliable data for tire development, performance evaluation, and quality validation.
The system supports Footprint Pressure Mapping for detailed measurement and analysis of footprint pressure distribution and contact characteristics. It also supports the Plunger Test for tire strength evaluation in line with FMVSS 139-related requirements. In addition, the system supports the Pitch Cut Test for evaluating the tire’s force and deformation response under localized cleat- or step-type obstacle input, extending its capability for functional and development-related tire testing.
With a rigid loading structure, precise load control, and repeatable displacement measurement, the machine ensures stable and consistent test performance under defined laboratory conditions. Combined with dedicated test and analysis software, it enables efficient evaluation of pressure uniformity, load distribution, footprint profile, and other related performance parameters.
Featuring safe operation, user-friendly control, and reliable system integration, the Tire Loading Test Bench provides an efficient solution for footprint testing, functional evaluation, and data analysis in modern tire testing laboratories.
Main Functions
l Footprint Pressure Mapping System: Used to measure pressure distribution, contact area, and footprint geometry within the tire contact patch, enabling evaluation of pressure uniformity, load distribution, and footprint characteristics.
l Plunger Test (standard FMVSS 109/119, ASTM F414-21): Used to evaluate the tire’s resistance to localized penetration force and its tread-area strength performance under concentrated loading, serving as an important test for tire strength assessment.
l Pitch Cut Test(standard FMVSS139): Used to evaluate the tire's force and deformation response under localized cleat- or step-type obstacle input, supporting assessment of obstacle adaptability and cut-/damage-relatedperformance.
